Brad Skuse

Brad Skuse

Managing Partner
Brad has been associated with the Courts since 1987, starting his career in the Toowoomba Magistrates Courts as a clerk.

This is where he gained his interest in criminal law. Whilst starting his studies a little bit later in life, in 2006 he was admitted as a legal practitioner. Brad initially spent a couple of years acting as a Magistrate, before venturing out into private practice, predominately in criminal law. Born and bred on the Darling Downs, he has spent his entire working life in and around Toowoomba. With all clients, he takes a personal approach to their individual situation.

Outside of work he enjoys kicking back on the weekend with a quiet game of golf with the boys and spending time with the family.
Claire Graham

Claire Graham

Managing Partner
Claire worked as a paralegal and in administration in different firms throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory before settling in Toowoomba in 2006. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws in 2011, Claire was admitted that year. She has worked in private practice solely practicing in criminal defence since that time.

On weekends, Claire enjoys camping, four-wheel driving and hanging out with her twin boys and husband – especially if it also involves either coffee or beer.
Sarah Campbell

Sarah was admitted as a practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2011 after completing a double degree of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. Sarah is passionate about protecting the rights of individuals and holding accountable Government powers. She has predominantly practiced in crime over the past 11 years but also has experience in family law and estate planning. Sarah is our main representative for people from Warwick, Stanthorpe, Goondiwindi and surrounds and is based at our Warwick office.

Sarah heralds from rural queensland and is often away competing on the weekends at campdrafts and cutting events with her horses and young family.

Paige Hetherington

Paige is a dedicated lawyer with a strong background in the criminal law system. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2023, however her journey in the legal profession first began in 2017 when she started as a legal receptionist, immersing herself in the inner workings of the Court system.

Through her dedication and perseverance, Paige quickly advanced in her career, steadily climbing the ranks, and gaining invaluable experience along the way. Her expertise lies within the realm of criminal law, where she has developed a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of the legal system. Paige is known for her exceptional organisational skills, ensuring that no detail goes unnoticed in her cases. She approaches each legal matter with meticulous attention, leaving no stone unturned in her pursuit of justice for her clients. Her passion for the law is evident in her unwavering commitment to advocating for their rights and interests.

Outside of work, Paige is an avid gardener and a proud dog mum to her Border Collie, Luna.

Sean Gallagher

SOLICITOR
Sean is based in the Toowoomba Office and has been a part of the team since April 2024. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2024 after graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Government and International Relations double degree in July 2023 and later completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with QUT in 2024.

Prior to joining our team Sean had spent considerable time working in the employment and industrial relations space before transitioning to criminal defence practice. He prides himself on providing the best service that he possibly can to his clients and advocating for their best interests at all times.

Sean was raised in Lismore in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales and loves regional Australia. Outside of work you will find him unwinding with a cold beer and a nice meal with friends and family; camping, fishing and travelling with his partner, Chloe; and has always had a keen interest in watching sports such as basketball, rugby league and cricket.
Sarah Watters

Sarah Watters

Administration (Toowoomba)
Sarah is based in the Toowoomba office and has been working at Skuse Graham Criminal Lawyers as an Administration Assistant for nearly three years now.

She has completed her Certificate IV in Business Administration at Tafe Queensland. Sarah is the first point of contact for the firm, answering the phones and greeting clients who visit the office. She assists the solicitors with all administration jobs such as arranging conferences, sending letters and preparing court documents.

Outside of working for Skuse Graham Lawyers, you’ll find Sarah at the gym breaking a sweat or indulging in a cheeky glass of wine.
Chelsea Connors

Chelsea Connors

Administration (toowoomba)

Chelsea is based in the Toowoomba office and is our newest member of the team. She assists the solicitors, conducts general administration duties and is often one of the first voices you hear when calling.

Prior to Chelsea joining the team, she was working as a manager and coordinator at a local dental practice. Chelsea is currently studying a bachelor's degree at the University of Southern Queensland.

Outside of work, you'll find Chelsea at the gym, studying or enjoying a cold beer with her family and friends.

Monica Jones

ADMINISTRATION (DALBY)
Monica is based in the Dalby office and has been part of the Skuse Graham team since May 2023.

Prior to Monica commencing her role in Dalby, she has worked in administration and PA roles for both small and large corporate business in Victoria and NSW for over 20 years including Real Estate & Business Sales, Thoroughbred Racing Industry, Financial Planning, Almond Processing and recently large agricultural Stations.

Monica and her husband share a passion for traveling, vintage cars, 50’s rock’n’roll dancing, their spoilt miniature fox terrier Patsy Ann and all things outdoors. She has even taken up the acoustic guitar in her spare time.
